In 1955, Pastors Claude and Addie Wyatt were called to begin a church family built on faith, hope, and love.  This vision took them from meeting in a garage with a small group of faithful believers into a dynamic ministry on Chicago’s south side.

Rev. Jerald January, Sr. was called to serve as the catalyst for maintaining the vision launching it into the new millennium.  As the new Pastor, Rev. January envisioned building not only a church campus, but a community that included modern amenities, single family and senior housing, education, health and recreational facilities.
