The Senior Ministry of Vernon Park Church of God exists as a unified body of believers who worship the God of the Holy Bible. We are committed to walk in His Word ("I, therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called, with all lowliness and meekness.." - Eph. 4:1,2) by helping, loving, mentoring and educating those in need. We want to be a light and a resource in the community. ("Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." - Matt. 5:16)

MISSION STATEMENT
The Vernon Park Church of God Justice Ministry exists to fulfill the requirements of the Lord by proclaiming justice and advocating for the rights and privilages of those in need. We will provide information and resources to our members, their families and our communities to raise awareness on relevant local, state and national issues. By networking with other ministries and outside agencies, wee seek to educate, train and develop future advocates for justice and righteousness according to the Christian values and God's Word.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to assist the newer members with their transition into Vernon Park Church of God. Our team works to ensure new members complete all requirements for participating in the Church’s holistic ministry. We develop strategies to effectively prevent God’s people from being lost during the transition process. The volunteer transition group helps members assimilate into the greater Body of Christ at Vernon Park to experience meaningful ministry for the building up of the Kingdom of God. The reclamation group works to reclaim members who have been out of consistent attendance as they are identified.
Theme Scripture (Ephesians 4:7, 12-13) To each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift for the equipping of the saints for the work of service to the building of the body of Christ. Until we will attain to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
Mission Statement:
All are worthy of another chance; we are willing to lend a helping hand.
