CORE VALUESMinister with Purpose
All ministries will be conducted to meet the needs of our congregation and our community. We will never be satisfied with the status quo; change will always be a way of life.Manage for Results
We are accountable for the results of our ministry; we will act with a sense of urgency to complete key tasks and make decisions. We will set deadlines and meet our commitments.Empower Our People
All the assets we could ever own are insignificant when compared to the capabilities, talents and gifts of our members. We will hire only the best, create an environment where we can thrive, and above all else, respect each individual’s unique contributions.Act with Complete Integrity
We will treat our members, our community, our employees, and those we do business with, as we would want to be treated, with the highest standards of respect, truthfulness and integrity.“Pray! And listen to God! You can do this alone, but find somebody to do it with you”

ABOUT US
Mother Carr’s Farm
A Community Supported Agriculture Project of Vernon Park Village
Welcome to Mother Carr’s Farm!
Located in Lynwood, Illinois, our Community Agriculture (CSA) has been in operation for 8 years and offers over 20 varieties of fresh pesticide-free produce to our members. Our season typically starts in mid-July and runs through November. During the season, which runs from July to late November, members receive a bi-weekly distribution of freshly picked produce. We offer delivery service for an additional $100 per season.
Purchasing a CSA membership share is a great way to get the highest quality of locally grown produce at an affordable price. It is also a wonderful way to support an African American business focused on practices that have the health of our land and our community in mind.
