New Members Ministry
The New Members Ministry sets forth to provide a streamlined experience for those transitioning into the Vernon Park congregation. New members to Vernon Park can expect a warm welcome, regular check-ins, prayer, and spiritual mentorship as they seek to apply the word of God to their daily life with the goal of revealing their purpose within His kingdom. Upon the first months of membership, new members will complete a multi-week curriculum on topics ranging from the process of salvation to better understanding Vernon Park’s mission as a spiritual and community-centered pillar within Lynwood, Illinois. At the completion of this course, new members will be guided to connect to ministries within the church that provide support services for their individual needs as well as receive assistance in prayerfully evaluating ministries for which they will serve via work within the church.
